Case Study.
ELT Student Portal.
Where commerce students buy a batch and then actually study in it: live classes, recordings, papers, exams, doubt rooms.
ELT Global runs Triple i Commerce Academy, which teaches ACCA, CMA and CA to commerce students across Kerala and online. The portal is the whole student side of that business in software: browse and buy a batch, then live in it for the length of the course. I built the frontend, from the purchase flow through the LMS to the live-class player.
Course delivery was scattered: payments in one place, class links in WhatsApp, recordings in Drive, doubts wherever a student could reach a teacher. Students who paid for a two-year qualification were spending effort just finding the class they had already bought.
- Built the portal in Next.js and TypeScript, with a frontend architecture that treats a batch as the unit everything hangs off: lectures, exams, files and doubts.
- Wrote a batch finder with stage, mode and qualification filters so a prospective student lands on the right batch instead of the whole catalogue.
- Integrated the 100ms React SDK so live classes play inside the app rather than exporting students to a meeting link.
- Structured recordings and study material per paper, so a batch page mirrors the syllabus a student is actually sitting.
- Added a doubt room per batch to keep questions attached to the course instead of scattering into DMs.
- Shipped push notifications for schedules and deadlines, and kept the UI responsive and accessible on the phones most students use.

Live and carrying the whole student side of the business: 4,000+ students studying across 30+ batches and five qualifications, buying a course and then living in it — live classes, recordings, papers and doubts in one place instead of scattered across WhatsApp, Drive and a payment link.
